Big Unveil!

With a lot of thanks to Andrew, we repainted the office over the weekend.  Big thank you to Nate Walker and his dad for bringing in expertise to finish the job in time to see patients Monday morning.

Number Practice

Kalia has been having so much fun practicing writing numbers with Uncle Andrew.  She's learning so much from him!

Elmer visit

The Elmer clan came to visit and we toured around Portland.

We drove up to Portland Thursday night as Tristan had a one day conference early Saturday morning.  We also picked up Jake at the airport as he had left over credits from helping us move.  Then we headed to lunch at Washington Park to meet Katie, Andrew, and my parents.  We took a walk through the Rose Garden before returning to pick of Tristan and take Katie to the Temple for Baptisms.

Dinner at Sweet Tomato followed by a temple session while Katie took care of the chikadees for us.

We decided to head up to Washington before driving out to the coast.  We got lunch in Vancouver (Katie really wanted to add Washington to her list of states visited) but decided the extra car time wasn't worth driving out to the coast.  We had a house rented in Lincoln City that night. We took the more direct course pass Salem to arrive in Lincoln City.

Lincoln City and Newport. We visited church and had fun hanging out until our little family headed home Sunday night for Tristan to see patients Monday morning.

I made dinner for everyone and we toured Tristan's practice.  Amalyn and Kalia LOVED having the extra attention.  Andrew arranged for a ride home to stay and help Tristan paint his office.  It's wonderful having another adult in the house!
