Stress busting

Tristan's parents drove up from Utah to surprise us.  They brought in some dino-therapy to help with a stressed out Tristan (practice ownership has been a hard adjustment).  Unfortunately Kalia girl wasn't feeling well with a pretty high fever.  We really enjoyed their visit (and the belated Christmas).   They left my birthday gift for me to open in a few weeks, but it was discovered quickly and with the excitement of unwrapping gifts the previous day, soon opened.  We love having visitors!

Kalia turns 4

For Kalia's birthday we invited new friends over to enjoy some cake.  I didn't get the camera out until after the fact, but I took 'after pictures.'  You know it's a good party when your house has been demolished.

Most notable of this birthday was the new balance bike.  We can't wait for warmer weather to really enjoy it!  

At dinner tonight...

Daddy: "Kalia, for your birthday how about staying 3 instead of being 4?"

Mama: "then you can be 3 for another year and turn 4 next year."

Daddy: "How about you stay 3 forever?"

Kalia: "No! then I could never be 8 and get baptized!"
